Mermaid Inspired Wedding

Summertime sets the stage for tropical destinations and beach themed weddings. While the seashells and nautical decor never go out of style, why not go for a modern twist with a Mermaid Inspired Wedding instead? This summery idea was inspired by the movie Pirates of the Caribbean 4 where beautiful mermaids enchant the pirates at sea and one falls in love for a sailor who saves her life. The look starts with the bride - Gorgeous flowing mermaid gown, a touch of blue in her cascading hair, and modern makeup with an unexpected pop of color on her lids. No mermaid would be complete without her pearls, so of course the bride would have to wear a classic pearl necklace. Washington Bridal Showcase

J.Biehl & Co. rocked the house at the Washington Bridal Showcase last Sunday, April 10th! It was a huge event with many awesome wedding vendors. Brides were very interested in our drawing for a FREE Hollywood Makeover, where J.Biehl will give one lucky bride a complimentary full makeup application. We also did several makeup demonstrations throughout the event and answered any questions brides had. We look forward to doing another show this Fall/Winter and will keep our brides posted. Xoxo~

Mamma Boudoir

Boudoir photo shoots are not only for the sassy gals, they are also for hot mammas too! Here are a few pics from the boudoir shoot done at Nicole K. Studios last month. As you can see our gorgeous mom to be looks fabulous, not too racy, and has beautifully captured this special moment. We did her makeup and gave her smokey brown eyes with touches of soft pink on her cheeks and lips. We were going for a very soft, but modern feel and this look would be perfect for a bride. Makeup 101 Class

Hey lovely ladies!! J.Biehl & Co. will be hosting a Makeup 101 Class on Saturday, February 19th at 5pm in Stevenville, MD. Class will include, makeup application basics, day to night look, tricks of the trade, favorite products and will allow you to try the makeup yourselves. Well ladies, we came, we saw, we did HOT makeup! Friday, January 21st J.Biehl & Co. had the honor of creating gorgeous faces for Nicole K. Photography's Boudoir Photo Shoot. With help of Stella & Dot jewelry and lots of sexy props, the models were sure a sight to see. We hope to do more of these events as they are becoming the hot new trend.
